Tropical Storm Erin is currently tracking across the Atlantic, bringing sustained winds near 45 mph and higher gusts, according to the latest National Hurricane Center advisory. The storm is moving northwest at approximately 10 mph, with its center located east of the Bahamas. Forecast models indicate that Erin may strengthen slightly over the next 24–48 hours as it moves over warm waters, though significant intensification into a hurricane remains uncertain at this time. Rainbands from the storm are expected to bring periods of heavy rainfall, localized flooding, and gusty winds to portions of the northern Lesser Antilles and the southeastern Bahamas.
