About the Expansion:

  • 75 new jobs
  • 5,000 sq. ft.
  • $2.5 million capital investment

The Business Development Board of Palm Beach County assisted RMS International with access to workforce training grants, as well as connections to Florida Atlantic University, Palm Beach State College, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Keiser University, Lynn University and Nova Southeastern University. It plans to hire analysts and data science graduates while also solidifying a partnership with CareerSource Palm Beach County.

With agents deployed around the world, RMS International has been considered “the largest company that no one knows about”, and that’s for good reason. Its clients continue to work with them based on the utmost privacy provided and span from providing global security response and evacuations to addressing corporate and workplace threats to providing close protection of A-List celebrities when on tour.  With members of the team having decades of combined experience in security, military, police, intelligence, and logistics, RMS International provides protective, investigative and surveillance services worldwide.

The state-of-the-art Risk Operations Center includes a faraday protected “safe room” that permits safe and encrypted sensitive communications. The operations center includes mission specific hardware and software with operations analysts monitoring events around the world 24/7 from the West Palm Beach office.

According to Chief Operating Officer Matt Nelson, “RMS International has conducted hundreds of high tempo, high profile operations in 57 countries over the last two years. The necessity of the company to establish our headquarters in an area that provides the resources and talent for our future growth was the driving factor for our decision to locate in Palm Beach County.”

“RMS International could’ve selected anywhere in the world to locate its corporate headquarters as it deploys security services around the globe, but it chose Palm Beach County, a strategic move, as this area has become the top sector for headquarters,” said Kelly Smallridge, President and CEO of the Business Development Board of Palm Beach County.
